Whats up guys,
So I have been playing a game called Escape From Tarkov a lot recently and the game has a problem with ram leaks. The thing is I have 16 Gb (4x4x4x4) of DDR4 2400 MHz rams. 2 of the sticks are from one brand and the other two are from another brand (bad I know)
I just ordered a new kit of 16GB (8x2) of DDR4 3200 MHz ram. The question is,
Should I take out all of the sticks and install the new ram I received or should I Install the new ram but put in the 2 of the 4gb of the DDR4 2400MHz and downclock the 16GB to 2400mhz.
So Option 1: Remove the previous ram and install a new kit so I have 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz ram or
Option 2: Install new ram kit as well as keep the 4x2 GB 2400mhz ram and downclock the new ram to 2400mhz.
Specs: Ryzen 5 2600x RTX 2070
With Tarkov, My usage normally goes up to 98% usage but I installed a program that auto clears cache ever 5 minutes and brings it below 80%.
