[SOLVED] Confusion About MBs, CPUs & Intergrated Graphics

I'm thinking about building my own W10 system! I am not a gamer at all, However, I would like to watch movies (1080P) No 4K on my system. That being said, I don't want to buy a graphics card! I'm looking at an AMD motherboard "ASRock B550M Pro4 AM4". I was looking at the specs and it states "Integrated AMD Radeon™ Vega Series Graphics in Ryzen Series APU*". Does that mean I can buy a CPU without APU? - Hope I explained this well! Any advice is appreciated - Tks, David N.

All systems need a CPU.

Some CPUs, both Intel and AMD, have a graphics subsystem built into the CPU.

If you don't want to add a dedicated GPU you will need a cpu that has an igpu. AMD calls them APUs.
