Hey all,
I'm planning to get new RAM at the end of the month and I've been looking around to see if it's supported and all that, but I'm beginning to get a little confused.
I currently have a Gigabyte H310M S2H motherboard with unknown ram installed (I didn't build it) and would like to upgrade that RAM to https://duckduckgo.com/?q=F4-2400C15D-16GTZR&t=ffab&ia=web <--- this RAM. Now I looked through my motherboard's supported memory list and I didn't find this RAM in it. Most of the RAM it features is older, slower and generally worse (Value)ram.
After digging around for a little bit I found out that your RAM doesn't necessarily absolutely HAVE to be on the support list in order for it to work. but that doesn't really help my exact situation either. How do I know for sure if certain RAM will work on my motherboard or not?
