Hi all, just wanted a clarification of a few details.
I have a laptop with an Amd 7670M graphics card and HDMI connection.
As far as I understand, I can use the 4k monitor through the HDMI connection to get a maximum of 30fps refresh rate.
However, conflicting information states that I can only use a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600:

Operating at 30hz is not an issue as I will not be gaming at this resolution but using it for getting more on the screen when using ableton live (music production software) and maybe for films (although I'll likely drop to 1080p for those).
So will my laptop be able to power this monitor or should I go for a lower resolution?
I really want a 4k monitor for future proofing as monitors are worth the investment as they last long!!
Any help will be fantastic, thanks!
🙂

Is the laptop in question (with expanded ram-16Gb and ssd-500Gb upgrades).
If that in anyway helps you! 🙂
