Hello guys,
I was planning on getting a PC in around a month.Have decided on the following config:
i7-6700k
8gb corsair vengeace ddr4(maybe 16 if budget allows)
asus maximus ranger VIII
corsair h100i
Samsung 850 evo250gb ssd
WD 1tb hdd
corsair 400r cabinet
corsair rm750 PSU
Primary purpose would be gaming and a little bit of media editing.
As for the graphics card I was thinking of buying MSI gtx 970 but now I'm thinking of getting only the above build and using intel graphics till pascal series of graphic cards gets launched. So now I'm confused about what to do. Will the pascal series of graphic cards be in my budget(something around gtx 970 which is 30k INR)?Also I hope it won't have any compatibility issues with the existing PCIE slots on my motherboard. Please give your suggestions.

Funny how you put the spec in spoiler tags, as if not to ruin someone else's Christmas if they happen to have the same thing. LOL

Anyways, the ironic thing is, were you to just go with LGA 1150, a 4790k, DDR3, a 500w PSU, and more reasonably priced MB and HS, you could easily afford the 970 now, and not be sacrificing any performance on the platform even WITH Pascal.

The 1151 platform has shown to have no better performance than 1150. The wait for Pascal could be quite some time, and I doubt you'd be happy on crappy onboard graphics that long given the kind of spec you're interested in.

Most are really enjoying their 970s, they do well even on poorly coded games like AC Syndicate. I've seen them as low as $270 for non reference cooled ones of top tier brands.
