So I got this GPU as a present during 2011. And, recently (More like, during December, 2015) I had installed the HD 5450 and it's components and I must say it worked fluently. Now, just today I had installed a core 2 duo into my old HP pavillion motherboard. And it worked. A few hours ago I installed my GPU back in and it was working as it was supposed to without it's drivers. After downloading one of it's drivers, it got stuck on 89% and then came the blue screen of death. I took out the power cord and plugged it in 5 minutes later just to see a black screen and 2 short beeps followed by one long one. I took it out and plugged it into the intergrated G31/33 chipset (Which I'm currently using) and it works fine. I really don't wanna throw this GPU away so I kindly request this community to guide to a solution. (;-;) After all, I did my best to give a detailed briefing over the issue. And, yes I had reseated my card (Not to mention I got shocked.) So, that didn't work... HELP ;-;

Solution
Probably a dead card, especially if you got a shock while working with it. That card is so old and slow (it was slow even when new) that you should not worry much about tossing it out, it's barely better what the onboard graphics can do. Find a used R7 240 or maybe a nVidia 730 GDDR5, those are pretty low power and would be better than the 5450.
