Connect 2 monitors via VGA

Hi, I want to know if I can connect 2 monitors via VGA without splitter in this way:
PC -HDMI-> Monitor 1 -VGA-> Monitor 2
Has anyone already tried it?

Its a gtx 1050ti that has no VGA output, connected to my main monitor via HDM, and an old monitor with VGA connection only. The question is if i can connect them in series.

Wait! You want to connect Monitor 1 with Monitor 2 via VGA cable?
No, that doesn't work.

No, you can't connect them in series. Each display must be connected directly to the video card.

What exact make/model GTX 1050ti do you have? It likely has a DVI-D (no analog signal) port. If so, you could use a DVI-D to VGA active adapter like the one below to connect the second display.
