I want to connect a 2nd external monitor to my Lenovo Thinkpad T470s. I have on monitor connected via HDMI. The usb C port is used for power. What is the cheapest way to do this? Either via cable or docking station? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I see that the system has a docking station port, so there should be a Lenovo accessory that you can use for it that'll have extra display ports.

Many thanks Petrossa for the solution...would there be any particular docking station you could recommend? They all seem to be pretty expensive....

Docking stations usually are.
You'd have to use one that is compatible with that system of yours to make use of the specific port.
