Hello,

I have a HP Envy M6 1207tx with 3rd Gen i7, 8 GB RAM also 2 GB 7670M. I'm looking forward to install an external gpu with this laptop, problem is that I don't know whether I have a free PCI-Express slot in it or not. Since I'm new to hardware, Please help me how can I know it is possible or not.

Regards

The system has no express card slot so that way won't work. It does have a mini pci-e port but thats where the wireless card is installed so it would have to be removed and it's possible the case would need to be modded to fit the cable. So its is possible but a complete waste of time and money. The mini-pci-e slot runs at 1x and will severely bottleneck any decent card to the point where its not worth the effort and cost.

I think you missed the point of my post. Even if you got a the fastest single gpu on the market(Titan X) with the bottleneck it would be slower than your 7670m.
