Connect Blu Ray Player Ethernet port to Router

Hello,
I bought a Philips blu ray player that has an ethernet port to connect to stream movies. My router is located on a different floor so connecting via an ethernet cable is not an option. How do I connect my blu ray player on the 2nd floor to the router on the 1st floor?

Use a wireless ethernet bridge (aka, gaming adapter).

[wireless router]<-- wireless -->[wireless ethernet bridge]<-- wire -->[blu-ray player]
