[SOLVED] Connect gaming monitor to laptop

So I have this Asus GL552V and I want to connect it to a 165hz monitor. Is there anyway I could get that 165 hz? My hdmi gives me just 120hz , I don't have a display port in my laptop and from googling I found out that my usb type C will not work with a adapter for DP. Anything I could do the get to 165 hz?

If your laptop does not have a DisplayPort output, then I do not believe there is anything you can do.

They only exist for up to 120 Hz at 1080p.
