I have a netgear router that I use as a repeater of my main linksys router.
Everything can connect to the repeater correctly except for these Foscam IP cameras I am trying to install. I can connect wired and wirelessly to the main router but am unable to connect to the repeater at all. I called Foscam and the directed me to netgear and netgear wants $130 to help me, so any help I could get here would be great. Thanks.

Check the type of password security you have enabled on your repeater and see if the cameras have the same type. If they don't, then you will have to experiment with the repeater and one camera until you get them to connect.

What is the issue/error you are getting? I have Foscams and they will connect to a Netgear router as they are in my home. What router are you using? Most routers cannot be configured as a Repeater. Do you mean set up as an Access Point?

But I assure you the Foscams will work.

Hi, i have te same problem. At first i connected my foscam through wifi to the main router. No problem. After that i add a wnr2000 and set it up as accesspoint. Everything connects except the foscam. It doesnt matter if i rename the ssid of the ap or not. Any idea?
