Hi, probably very straight forward just never needed to do it before

Partner works from home and uses a laptop, currently has an additonal screen connected via HDMI. She wants to add another screen, but unsure the best way, tried a HDMI splitter into the laptop and then to both screens didnt work, so i assume theres a simple method.

3rd screen doesnt have HDMI port, but does have DVI and from memory VGA if this helps

Many Thanks!

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately the USB C port on her laptop is what she uses for charging it so it's not free.

She has 2 hdmi ports, so I thought a splitter would work (for her screen that doesn't have hdmi I bought a hdmi to DVI cable thinking that would work)

I'll have a to take another look at it properly, unless it's the splitter itself, as it didn't power up when plugged into the laptop but did when I plugged it into one of the monitors

One screen via HDMI,the other screen via USB-C.
Laptop has single HDMI port (not 2).

If you can't use USB-C port, then there's no way to connect 2 monitors to the laptop.
And splitter displays same signal on multiple screens. So - not applicable here.
