Connect micro stereo system to tv

I have a relatively basic question. I want to connect this tv to this micro stereo system so I can hear the tv's audio through the stereo system. What would be the best way to do this?

Does your stereo has audio input? Connect TV' headphones out to that input.

The tv has a headphone out port. The stereo system does not have an rca audio in, only a one hole "audio in" like you would see on the face of a car stereo for hooking an ipod to.

I don't know if I responded to your question correctly earlier. I am new to this....there is a headphone jack on the tv. The stereo has an audio input on the front, but it is not an rca audio input, just a 3.5 mm single hole that says "audio in" below it.

So just to be clear, my stereo does not have an rca audio in, only a single hole 3.5mm "audio in" on the front. So I should just connect tv headphone output to the single "audio in" hole on front of stereo?

If you are sure that 3.5mm jack on your stereo is audio-in, then a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm cable like this should work.

You can try with such a cable, and eg your phone.
