Question Connect Mitsumi KPQ keyboard to USB

I'm trying to connect an old Mitsumi keyboard, model KPQ-E99YC, to USB. I tried using a multitude of connectors and converters to no avail. I used a 5 pin DIN to PS2 connected to the keyboard, then connected that to a PS2 to USB connector but nothing, I read that I need some sort of active converter that has internal logic instead of a passive converter that just redirects the signal.

Please help.

It looks like a 5pin (aviator) cable. Perhaps try and source something like this adapter...?

That looks like the ticket. I was trying to use a chain of adapters instead of a one product solution. Prices seem to be standard. 45USD on tinkerboy and 40USD on ebay.
