Connect MP560 to Laptop wirelessly

I need help connecting my MP560 printer to my laptop wirelessly I've been using the usb function for a while but I wanted to start using it wirelessly and I connected it to my Netgear router but that's where I get stuck.

the share option is already checked and everything it just that I can't seem to get my printer to print stuff wirelessly I have to use the USB function to print anything I want to print I connected the printer to my network wirelessly and I tried to get it to connect to my laptop but it doesn't work I use my laptop as my main computer cause my desktop is really old

In the wireless printer's setup menu (on the printer itself) you have to enter the wireless key or passphrase that is already set up on the router. This enables the printer to connect wirelessly to the router.

If your laptop is successfully connected wirelessly to that same router, and provided you've installed the printer software on your laptop, you should be able to access the printer from it.

My printer is already connected wirelessly to my router. I do have the software installed too. I used my laptop to print from the printer by usb cord and I wanted to do it wierelessly now and it doesn't work..The wifi icon is on on the printer whenever I turn it on. its just that when I don't have it connected to my laptop by USB it says its offline and when I do connect it to the usb it says online and starts printing.

Re-run the printer setup on the laptop. Chances are the IP address changed on the printer and the computer is trying to communicate to the old one.
