Question Connect Nintendo Switch Controllers to RPi and emulate keyboard ?

Hello. I wanted to use my Nintendo switch controllers on my RPi to emulate a keyboard. I've tried Antimicro X and Qjoypad. Both of those programs recognize the controllers but don't detect analog/button presses. The controllers work in Retropie but don't work in the Desktop. How do I get these programs to recognize the buttons/analog sticks?

I see that this was posted over a week ago. This is probably a better question for the Raspberry Pi forums or Retropie forums.
