Hi All,

I have a works laptop and a home desktop that i`d like to connect so that I can connect the work laptop to use the desktop pc monitor and keyboard.
I understand i can use a KVM, but wonder as my laptop only has two usb ports and i would have the keyboard , mouse and a usb headset would the KVM allow me to use one usb for both mouse/keyboard connections leaving a port free for the usb headset? or would I need something like a usb hub to connect them all in?

thanks
Paul

Solution
solved it, bought a usb switcher . plug keyboard and mouse into my monitor usb ports. then the usb out into a switcher and then usb leads connecting laptop and pc usb ports.
