Connect router to modem.

Hi all ,

I have an isp modem brand arris and I want to connect it to a linksys router e1200. I need to sent all internet all time to the linksys router only .I don't want to connect other devices to the modem. Can anyone tell me what must I do to connect it that way?

Just connect the WAN port of the router to the modem. That is all the physical connection required.
