Question Connect Samsung HW-Q90r to PC

I just bought this audio system, and i wanna connect it with my PC by optical port. But i don't know how, and my mobo "ASUS Rog STRIX X570-e", someone body on internet says i have to buy an sound card supports it. Cuz i'm new so please help. Thanks

Hey man,

I doubt you actually need a dedicated sound card for that. If you look at the ports on your motherboard, just under the wifi antenna connectors, there are 6 sound ports. The one labeled SPDIF OUT is the one you're looking for. I'd say try that out and come back if you have any new questions.

my soundbar doesn't have audio port as you said, it only has optical and 2 HDMI. This is my Mobo detail, i just wonder if the optical port on my mobo supports my soundbar 7.1?
