Question connect the power switch to my motherboard

im battling to connect the power switch to my motherboard NCR Pocona D-NR6-D-021 V1.0

Look for the front panel header on the motherboard.
It will look like this:

It looks to be located one up from the bottom on this image:

The power pins are not polarity sensitive,
The hdd and pwr led pins are polarity sensitive.
Usually, the plain common colored leads are ground.
There is no problem if you connect them backwards, the led's simply don't work.
No damage will occur.

the headers on this board dont look like that its a 10 pin which the 3 pin is missing

I got boards like that one, i put them on by pin 4(opposite pin 3 blank) and pin 9.Does the board show red light wen, wen psu is connected.

wen u put the power plug in then a red light comes on and the pc turns on automatically even though the jumper in on the disable part.

Oky good. Good to bios under chipset settings, choose south bridge. U will see option about restoring power after power loss. Set it to no to power.

You need to separate power switch connectors so tht u would be able, to connect one at 4 and one at 9
