Have 2 routers set up:

1. Telstra CGD24N router - ISP provided- [Primary router]
- HTPC
2. Asus RT-AC66U Router [Second Router]
- Synology D214play NAS
- Number of wireless streamers - including Chromecast.

Second Router [RT-AC66U] is currently configured as an Access Point. Therefore all devices on 1 network and it works fine for the most part. However, in AP mode I can't access most of the Secondary routers capabilities.

Would like to set up the Asus router with DCHP (as a router) but allow my HTPC to access the NAS behind it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It is the same process as if you wanted to access the nas from the internet. You do port mapping and if that doesn't work you use the dmz abilities.

If you can set the telstra to bridge mode you could move everything behind your asus and use it as your only router.
