Connect to router

Our broadband has become disconnected, we think the lead from the master socket has lost its input plug from the other end as it just has 4 bare coloured wires sticking out from the outer cable. I've got a 5m RJ11 cable that I've plugged into the Master socket but don't no where to plug the other end?
