Connect two houses internet

Hi all

I live next to a family member (2 semi detached) and was looking at joining our networks and utilising a single 300Mb internet line. Now I would know easily how to do this with no problem normally as have done networking a lot before however because he is renting (we own) I can not run any cable through between us. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Lucky for u, I just watched a youtube video, apparently ubiquiti sells these house-to-house WIFI antennas, as long as you have line-of-sight, seems to work pretty good.

Just looked through what you was on about and unfortunately that wouldn't work. The only reason it wouldn't work is I would still need him to have to drill a hole in his house. If I ended up having to drill a hole I would just stick some external ethernet cable along the wall of the house much cheaper (free actually as I should have 20 metres of it somewhere) its just because he doesn't want his landlord complaining at him.
