Connect two LED leads to 4-Pin Molex connector safely?

I didn't see anything at the link you posted about the amperage they draw. That would be the deciding factor. It will be either an amount per LED or, since they can be cut into groups of 3, an amount per 3 LEDs. Then you need to look at your PSU specs and see what is the max amperage they state for that connection.

You could surely run some of them but maybe not the entire string of 300. How many is the question. There might be something printed on the strip itself or if you have the manufacturer name you might try checking their web site for specs on the specific LEDs you have.

Solution

A number of reasons.
1) That's more money that I don't feel like spending.
2) I don't mind playing with my computer. In fact, as long as what I'm doing is safe, I enjoy it.
3) I would have to have the cables running to an external power supply outside of my computer. This means I have to turn them on manually when I start my computer. This is just extra hassle and is not ideal.
