Connect VCR to HR54/500 Genie DVR

I've searched the web over and can't find an answer. How do I connect my DVR to the VCR. The DVR only has a 10 pin connector on the back for audio and HDMI. I have some stuff that needs put on tape. The VCR does have both RYW and coax in and out.

Have you considered using a computer, and USB capture adapter, to transfer your tapes?

It is a Genie HR54/500. I don't have a computer to use otherwise that would be a great solution.

If this is your DVR:
Genie HR54 is not generic DVR, it is made specifically to record and play back DirectTV programming. There are no inputs (other than coax cable from the dish).

As for your project: There are companies where you can send your VHS tapes, and get back DVDs. Depending on how many tapes you have, it could be actually cheaper to get an entry-level laptop, and perform that conversion by yourselves.
