Hi, id like to get wifi in my shop without having to pay the tele company to come and setup a new network in there as they would need to lay alot of new cable on my property to do so. Instead i wondered if its possible to wirelessly connect my pc in the shop to my home wifi (about a mile away) using some sort of reciever antenna. What antenna do you think would be best for this? thanks a bunch

Do you have a good line of sight? If so, then a pair of these -- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168151 on the house and the shop pointing at each other should work. You would bring a single ethernet cable, with power and data, outside the house to one dish. You bring a single ethernet cable inside the shop with power and data. You then connect a WIFI access point (or router configured to work as an access point) in the shop to provide connectivity to devices.
