Connected or not connected but limited access

My netgear6100 wireless adapter says it is connected but in the bottom right corner says not connected and limited access.

I've been fine with no issues for about a year. Laptops, phone, tablet all connect just fine.

I've tried doing numerous things. I've scanned threads on Google search for about 3 hours will no results.

Restarted computer modem router, done several different commands, and a bunch of others. The only thing that worked for about 30 seconds was going to the ivp4 thing and clicking properties and using a certain Ip and DNA server. It worked for 30 seconds then just goes back to automatic and now that doesn't work.

I have windows 7. I am unable to plug in with an Ethernet cable.

1| Mind sharing your full system specs?
2| Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS, chipset/USB drivers are all up to date as is the case with your wireless adapter?
3| If the settings keep reverting to automatic in spite of manually keying in the numbers then it's possible that the drivers are not playing nice with the OS or that your OS has been corrupted(and may require a reinstall).

Where do I see full system specs? Consider me as like a toddler im bad at this stuff.

My drivers I assume are up to date. The wireless adapter did do an update when I got internet for 30 seconds before it stopped. So maybe that update caused the problem.

How would I reinstall my OS?

Update: So I uninstalled my wireless adapter program then reinstalled. Put in the google DNA of 8 8 8 8 and now my internet works for the moment. But it still says not connected and limited access in the bottom right corner.

No idea what it is, might just go buy a 100 ft long Ethernet cable and run the cable from upstairs to downstairs. Cause theres something still wrong with my computer.
