Connected to the internet but can only connect to google Facebook youtube and limited websites.

I am connected to the internet but i can only seem to be able to connect to google,Facebook,youtube,wikipedia etc. I can not connect to this forum nor any other than those websites listed. I have tried restarting my pc multiple times, upgrading, and even different browsers none has worked. The problem started this afternoon when i connected to a different router that i use for a demo show at my work. I connected to see the speed on the router and everything was working fine. I then connected to an Ethernet cable even though i have never connected to one before, because i wanted to check the speed on my internet without the wifi. I then tried to use my laptop normally a couple of hours later, and when i connect back to my home wifi i can only connect to google. I have tried everything i have been trying to find a solution for the last 3 hours to no avail. i am desperate please help me. I am on Windows 8.1

Is the router limiting access? Have you run a malware check (malwarebytes has a free version
