Connected to Wfi but no internet access

I have windows 7 and comcast xfinity internet. I have two computers that can connect to the wifi but have no internet access. When first connecting to the wifi under the "status" it will say that i have internet access for about 10 seconds before saying that i do not have access. I dont think it is a comcast problem because i tried this with my brothers computer downstairs with the same wifi adapter and it works for his computer.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using a wireless router or wireless access point?

In case if it's an access point, you're pretty much limited to 1-2 pc's according to your internet providers settings

I opened the page and this product was described as "Modem" not gateway

It is a gateway with wifi. My phone is connected to the wifi, my computer will connect to the wifi but doesn't have intranet access.
