Connected Two power supplies to a hard disk drive

Help!
I've accidentally connected two power supplies to my sata hard drive and now it won't show up. Anyway​ to restore data from it?
It contains some 20gigs of pictures.

If you connected a power supply cable to the data ports on the disk, you probably damaged it badly. Does the driver spin up?

It didn't spin up for a day.
Next day idk what happened and I just powered the HDD. It showed up!
I guess I was lucky! 😀
