Hi everyone.

I just finished building my first computer but the case only came with one fan, so im going to buy two 4-pin fans tomorrow (idcooling NO-12025-W White LED)

The case (Deepcool Dukase V2) came with a fan controller with a 3-speeds fader. It has a molex connector that i connected to the PSU and 3 4-pin male connectors (though they are only 4-pin in size, because they have only 2 wires connected each).

The fan that came with the case is a 3 pin fan and it worked just fine with the controller. My question is, will the 4-pin fans work? Will their LEDs work?

Thanks!

That cant be helped at all
2/3rd fan speed & above shouldnt be too noticeable

Thanks for the reply! I have another question now:

Do these controllers make use of the whole spectrum of a fan speed? For example, if the controller has 3 positions and i plug a 2000 RPM to it, will the fan run at 666, 1333 and 2000 respectively?

Because it would be overkill to buy a 2200 RPM fan that wont go above 1500 RPM.

Thanks once again!
