Hi, first time posting here and hope someone can help me out with my first pc build since i’m pretty new to all this.
I’m slowly buying parts to build an AMD system, and I currently own a Phanteks P400S case and a MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard, the next parts i want to buy are the fans and the processor (I’m going with Ryzen 7 2700X and using it stock cooler btw).
I looked into some Cooler Master Masterfan MF120R RGB 4 pin fans and i was thinking on getting 6 of them but don’t really know how to connect them, my mobo has 4x 4 pin fan connectors and 2x 5050 RGB LED connectors, do i need a splitter or controller in this case to be able to connect 6 fans ? If so, can anyone recomend one ?
I’ve never built a desktop or had one but i did research a lot of stuff but i’m kinda confused on how to get these 6 fans working with my current mobo.
