Im having some trouble cascading my second router(belkin) to my primary router(netgear) i have followed all the steps(i think) and it will hold a connection for about 5 hours and then it will cut out/say its disabled. So then i have to reset the belkin everytime to keep a connection. I must admit this is my first time trying to cascade routers. If anyone could give me a DETAILED step by step process that is not too confussing( bc most of the ones ive read are confussing) on how to do this (lan to wan is preferred) i would really appriciate it.

Setting up cascading routers is not the common way to set them up. Most of the time, they are setup as a router, and an access point. That should also be more stable.

having 2 consumer grade routers on the same network is not a good idea, why are you doing this?
