I have a VGA monitor and just bought a GTX 1050, more specifically Gigabyte GTX 1050 OC which has 1x DVI 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort. What would be the best way to connect the GPU to my VGA monitor?

I've seen some VGA to HDMI and VGA to DVI adapters but I don't know what's the difference and which one should I get?

VGA to DVI would be the cheapest option and logical option. When you get onto a concurrent panel/monitor, you can use the DP or HDMI port. In this day and age, finding a DVI monitor is getting harder as technology is moving forward. Make and model of your GVGA monitor?

It's a pretty old Samsung SyncMaster 943 1366x768. Which I will be replacing in the next few weeks. I'm just looking for a temporary fix.
