Connecting a LAN Printer to a wireless network. Bridge, Repeater, or Access Point?

I have a LAN based printer that is located in a basement of a client's house. His primary internet and network, running off of a Linksys WRT54G, is located on his second floor. His laptop grabs the network just fine in the basement so I know the signal strength is good down there. The question is how do I hookup the LAN printer to his wireless network running off the WRT54G. Do I do this with a bridge, access point, or repeater? Thanks for the help!

Run that baby in Client-Bridge mode. Or get an open source DD-WRT version and just enter the wifi credentials in the setup and it connects and the device actually believes it is Ethernet.

Below is a link to a type of router that is perfect for what you need. It is light and it works. I use them all over the place.

Here is a link to the dd-wrt router databases if you need to change the Routers firmware as I cannot confirm the WRT54G can run client bride but try it first and if not then Open Source ftw!

I love making my Wired devices Wireless.
