Connecting a printer to a router-modem, to be used by a desktop pc connected to the router via ethernet?

Hi.
I just bought this low grade epson printer scanner to deal wiith urgent documents to print for work.
It turns out they do not provide a USB cable with it (these have a special square side and I do not have one nearby).
It does have wifi capability though, but sadly I don't have a wifi-card on my desktop pc.

So here is my question, can I hook up the printer to the modem-router, and have it used by the desktop which is connected to that modem-router via ethernet.

I hope I used the right terms, if in doubt please ask me.

I updated the drivers and all and now can access the printer and the scanner too.
