Hi all,

After buying a new PSU and GPU, I seem to have run into a problem that's driving me mad.

I've looked all over but can't seem to find an answer on how to connect my PSU to my GPU.

The PSU is an RX-450K, by RaidMax.
The GPU is a Zotac GeForce GTX 560.

The connectors don't quite makes sense to me, though (with the exception of the provided pics) both work/fit fine.

The PSU's output:

The GPU's input:

Thanks so much :)

Top pic is a 4 pin molex, bottom pic is 2 6 pin PCI-E power connectors. You *can* get a molex to 6pin adapter, but that really isn't recommended. Also, I wouldn't trust that PSU to power my child's MLP train set. Buy a new PSU with 2 6 pin, or 2 6+2 pin PCI-E power connectors.

About the best/cheapest I'd throw into a PC.
Well, they don't seem to fit because they aren't meant to. Those 4-pin connectors on the PSU are Molex connectors. They aren't as commonly used as they used to be, a while ago they were how HDDs and other devices got power.

The short answer is, that PSU isn't meant to power a GPU. There are Molex to PCIe adapters available which would connect two of those four-pins to one six-pin GPU power connector though the best solution would be to install a proper gaming PSU.
