Connecting a usb external hard drive

I am trying to find out if there is an adapter that I can use to connect an external hard drive with usb to and rj45 connection. Linksys had something for this but the reviews looked pretty bad. I don't want to use a program like free NAS since I don't have the spare parts for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No idea of how well it works, but it exists.

This depends on what you are actually wanting to do.
A print server talks to a printer, not a hard drive.

Why the desire for both ethernet and USB?

You need a NAS box.

I just bought a 4 bay DAS box (Direct Attached Storage). This will connect via USB to my HTPC/house server.
4 drives, shared for backups and whatever.
