My PC doesn't have a wireless connection, so I'm using a wireless adapter, specifically the TP-LINK TL-WN721N (150Mbps).

Unfortunately, the PC doesn't recognize the adapter, so I suspect it may be a driver issue. I searched online and could only find drivers available for older versions of Windows (Vista/XP/7/8/8.1). For example, you can see on the official site:

I have Windows 11 installed, so I'm unsure of what steps I can take to utilize this device.

Try this driver:

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-wn725n/

May or may not work but no harm in trying.

If that driver "725" does not work then try "724" going backwards down the list....

Good chance that the driver for a newer product may have been or remains backwards compatible.

Another tip: Use a USB extenstion cable to move the wireless USB adapter up and away from the host computer. May help with with wireless USB reception but more importanly USB transmission.

Finally I installed the 'old' version for Windows 8.1 and it worked. Thank you!
