Hello!!
I have an Apple stationary computer, the computer is also the screen in one unit and I would like to connect the screen to a Windows computer, the Apple computer does not have an hdmi port but a Thunderbolt c port. I am happy to know if there is an option to connect through this connection a Windows computer, which will connect only to the screen, I found a link to get hdmi for type c that hdmi will be an output and not an input here.
Glad to know if it can really help?
I would love to hear solutions.
It will help me a lot!!

I have the same iMac and wanted to do the same thing. Unfortunately, the answer is “no.” The iMac is a computer, not a monitor, so it cannot accept video input - it only outputs video.

That being said, with a MacBook , you would be able to link the keyboards or with an iPad you should be able to extend the screen.

There are some third-party software that allow you to extend your display using an iMac, but unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations.
