Connecting an old game controller.

Hello, I've tried connecting an old QuickShot Command Pad game controller to my PC. I didn't have the 15 pin plug, so I inserted a Sound Card in my computer and connected the cables. However, nothing happens at all. Of course the computer recognised the Sound Card and everything, but when I connect the Controller, nothing at all happens. Any thoughts? BTW, I've got a Windows 7 64-bit.

You need proper drivers for Sound card, it's Game port and that game controller. Problem is that drivers also need to be 64bit and most old ones are made for 32bit XP.

Well, the PC does recognize everything about the Sound Card, unless you mean the software for it.

Yes, software (drivers), they have to match OS bitness (x86 = 32 bit and x64 = 64 bit).

Alright, it's now installing everything. I'll edit this post to let you know if the GC is working.

It's still the same. No new drivers were even added in the Device Manager.
