Connecting Asus RT-AC56U Router to DLink DIR-600L Router using WDS

Okay so here is my setup:

Current Setup:
Main Linksys WRT120N Router ---(Connected)--> (Access Point Mode) ASUS RT-AC56U

Main Goal::
Main Linksys WRT120N Router ---(Connected)--> (Access Point Mode) ASUS RT-AC56U ---> (Connect via WDS) DLink DIR 600L

I cannot seem to be able to connect the ASUS Router using WDS to my DLink Router.
I have read the guides provided by both asus and dlink about wds setup but had no success.
Can I achieve the above goal.
There is no guide that shows how to connect to different company routers using WDS.

Okay i seem to have fixed the problem.
I followed the asus guide for setting up wds on both routers and then I went through some posts via google one of them suggested to turn off DHCP Settings in the Dlink Router.

That did the trick.
