Hi, I replaced my motherboard and I've connected almost all the cables, but I'm having trouble with a few of them. The cables I haven't connected yet are two USB cables, one VCC1/USB1-/USB1+ & GND1 cable, Reset SW, Power SW and HDDLED+/- cables.
I have a MSI Z97 PC Mate motherboard and a CiT Shadow Interior Mesh case.
According to the manual, the Reset, Power and HDDLED cables should be connected to the JFP1 connector. In the guide, the image shows that the connectors are as follows
+ - + - (PWR LED | PWR SW)
+ - - + (HDD LED | RESET)
That's not a typo, right? I have to twist the cables a bit, so they're not facing in the same direction? Can I then connect the HDDLED cable to bottom left, Reset SW to its right, and the Power SW on top of the Reset SW, positioning them according to the positive wire triangle marks?
The VCC/USB cable and GND cables should be connected to one of the JUSB connections, but which one, JUSB1 or JUSB2? They both have the same kind of descriptions on the board itself, so I'm asking just in case.
And last, I have two USB cables but one of the JUSB connectors will be used by the front panel USB cable. So can I just leave one of them unused? Will not connecting it cause any harm?
I'm scared of doing something wrong, any help would be appreciated.
