Connecting Case to Motherboard [ATX] need help.

I have a redbone U3 case and a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P motherboard, I've connected all the other cables to the motherboard USB/Sata etc. The last cable is the ATX wires, do I just color match them or is there more to it?

It's my first computer build, I've referred to the motherboard manual but I'm just not getting it. Don't want to fry it or anything.

this is my old boar so i hope it work on the board ther shoud be names ow whats it is like power - + if not collormatch is the go i hope it works 😀

yes look at the names like hdd +_ the inddicator of the hdd light
pwr led +_ the led of the power light pw+- the power butten

Your manual will tell you what goes where, also, some boards have an adapter plug that comes with them, you plug all the wires into the adapter (which is labeled) then you plug the adapter to the motherboard.

The number of pins on that diagram don't add up to what I have though.

You dont have all of them, thats why. Some cases dont have the intrusion header, or speaker.
