In my house I have both a wireless router and a booster. The booster is slightly closer to my computer, causing it to sometimes connect preferably to it. However it is not always on/may not be able to handle all my data as well as all the data from the downstairs devices.
When the booster is switched off, sometimes my computer loses access to the network (it won't allow reconnect), and I have to restart the router. This never happens if I connect to the router frist.
Is there a way to make my computer connect directly to the router, instead of sometimes going to the booster and causing issues?
The router is a Thomson TG782T
The booster is a TP-LINK TL-WA850RE N300
Thank you for any help
