Hello, I have two monitors and I'm trying to connect them to the computer so I can extend the image. One of the two monitors is actually a TV w/HDMI, VGA, USB, multiple outputs. The other is an AOC monitor with HDMI and VGA in the back. Both of the monitors work independently with the computer, but the computer will not detect a second on. I've tried to connect them through both HDMI and VGA and it still will not work! Please help.

Solution
Your motherboard has a bios setting which enables multi monitor support for integrated cards (your situation).
Restart the computer, enter the bios, select advanced menu, and look for "Graphics Configuration". Under this section, there should be a "Primary Display", set it to "iGPU". Further down that same list will be "iGPU multi Monitor". Make sure it is enabled.
Reset and try again.
A list of components will be helpful for diagnostic. Not a vague list but make and model. If using integrated graphics on an OEM computer. Make and model of the computer. I ask because sometimes while there are multiple ports. These are just options. Only one may be used at a time. This is more likely in an older computer using integrated graphics.

You need a make and model number for computer, not which OS you have on it.

Example: Dell Dimension e-510, or HP Pavillion 510-po10z.

If you built it yourself. we would need to know the make and model of motherboard instead of computer, as well as the make and model of the gpu.

I believe these computers were custom made for us. When right click Properties from My Computer, I see:

Model: NexLink
Mfr: Seneca Data
Intel (R) core (TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20 GHz

When I run from the CMD, I get the following information:

Model: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product: B85M-E
Version: Rev X.0x

Is this helpful?

It's a start 😉
That gives us your motherboard model, but we still need to know if it has an add-on graphics card.
Open device manager and find the video adapter entry. We need the name of the GPU found under that setting.

With both monitors connected, did you go into display settings and enable the second monitor? It might not using them both because it wasn't told to.
You have integrated GPU (it's on your intel cpu), and your motherboard can support up to 3 displays at once. This means that you have the capability, but something is not configured properly. Right click on the desktop, choose display settings, and see if you have multiple monitors setup. If not, it will let you set up how they behave with each other (side by side, one continuous screen or separate, resolutions for each, etc).

When I click "detect" to find the second monitor, it says "Another display not detected" even though they are connected.

The Allegra monitor I'm using has multiple inputs, currently it is in PC Mode running the vga cable from the computer to the monitor. I am trying to connect both monitors with an HDMI cord, but I cannot switch out of the PC mode on this monitor or I cannot see the computer. I have tried connecting the monitor to the computer via HDMI cable and then connecting the monitors through vga cable, but that didn't work either.

The Primary Display was not set as iGPU, and multi Monitor was not enabled. However, even after making these changes it still will not detect second monitor. I have one monitor into the computer and the other monitor into the main monitor. Is that incorrect?

Yes! Problem solved :) It wouldn't have mattered if I was plugging directly into the computer to begin with since the multi monitor mode was off. But now everything is plugged into the computer and working just fine. Thank you for all your help!!
