Connecting f panel on ga 970 ud3

I know this is a stupid question and I suppose I could just try it; I've got a GA 970 UD3 and Fractal Define R3 case. Just looking it over I cannot locate a speaker or 3 pin connector to audio for beep in the case.

In my old case it must be well hidden as well. Is it important; has the motherboard got a speaker, or maybe I'm supposed to buy that separate.

No the mobo does not have a speaker.
It has a header for a system spkr though.(front panel header)
System speakers come supplied with some cases(not all).
They're cheap if you feel you need one.

Cheers; I thought maybe the cable had come out. My old case, well I just plugged in what was there. I've been looking on ebay and I could get one for a couple of quid.

It is a bit of a surprise to find they are not fitted as standard, I need beeps though.
