connecting help

i have a acer 56k v90 voice modem .. the problem is when i connect to the internet it takes a long time at the logging on to network ..it just takes abt 3 to 5 mins just to connect .. i didn't have this trouble when i was using my old comp until it crashed ... can anyone help ?

If your ISP doesn't require that option to be checked, simply uncheck it in the properties of that connection
