Hi,

I'm trying to connect two xbox 360 wireless controller to my PC receiver at the same time (for local multiplayer). I have no problem playing games with either controller connected at once, however when I try to connect both at the same time - they are both recognized as controller 1 - rather than the second one being assigned controller 2 (indicated by the quadrant position of the green light) on the middle X logo.

I've tried messing with software like x padder but it also only recongizes one controller connected even though both are connected.

thanks

That's not what he's saying. He's attempting to play with two controllers on the same PC.

I wish I could help you here, but every time I've played with two controllers on my PC it's worked swimmingly. I would suggest removing the wireless adapter, the software, and driver, and reinstalling everything.

Also, just a thought, but are you sure you're not accidentally turning on an Xbox 360 somewhere close to you? Maybe try resyncing the controllers just in case.

i know but games are not always multiplayer on a PC

but try 2 receivers or try a wired one or try the USB charger
